Overview
Marlborough Special Situations is a cell of Marlborough International Fund PCC Limited, a Guernsey-domiciled collective investment scheme which acts as a feeder fund into the UK-domiciled Marlborough Special Situations fund.
The award-winning managers of our flagship Marlborough Special Situations fund invest in the dynamic growth potential of the UK’s innovative and agile smaller companies, which have strongly outperformed the corporate giants over the long term.
Eustace Santa Barbara and Guy Feld work with one of the largest and most experienced investment teams in the field and are supported by an extensive network of brokers and industry contacts. This gives them an important edge as they target the most attractive opportunities from around 2,000 smaller companies listed in the UK.
The under-researched nature of smaller companies enables Eustace, Guy and the team to conduct their own fundamental analysis and invest in exceptional businesses before their long-term growth potential is recognised by other investors. They manage a highly diversified portfolio of around 160 stocks, which helps to manage risk, and alongside smaller companies they hold success stories that have grown into much larger businesses.
