We are one of the UK’s leading independently owned investment management specialists and we’re working with a growing number of adviser firms as their investment management partner. We’ve been managing investments for 40 years and today we look after assets worth billions of pounds for individual, intermediary and institutional clients.
Our single strategy funds
Our single-strategy funds cover a range of key global asset classes and have earned a succession of industry awards for the performance achieved for investors. In our most recent accolade, in the 2024 LSEG Lipper Fund Awards, Marlborough European Special Situations won Best European Small and Mid-Cap Equity Fund over 10 years. In addition, Richard Hallett, Manager of Marlborough Multi-Cap Growth, was shortlisted for the FE fundinfo Best Alpha Manager – UK Equities 2024 award. Three of our fund managers, Eustace Santa Barbara, Richard Hallett and David Walton are FE fundinfo Alpha Managers. Only the top 10% of UK managers receive this accolade, representing those managers who are “the very best of the best” in the industry.

We offer a range of multi-asset solutions, all managed by a single investment team, who have more than 200 years’ combined experience, and using the same clearly defined investment strategy and process.
Our managed portfolio solutions (MPS) service provides active, passive and blended options and has a five-star rating from Defaqto and a gold Defaqto service rating. Performance is comparable to the best in the industry. We also offer multi-asset funds and a bespoke portfolio service, Personal Portfolio.
Nathan Sweeney, our Chief Investment Officer – Multi-Asset, and Raj Manon, our Head of Investments – Multi-Asset, both earned a place in the 2024 Citywire Wealth Manager Top 100 list of the UK’s leading fund selectors.
